Mike Will Downey

Mike studied film and entertainment starting in 1981. He grew up on a farm in Granville, Ohio and has watched and reviewed over 4,300 movies, written hundreds of short stories, seven screenplays, and produced music videos and songs. In 1999 Mike won a writers award for his work as a journalist in Ohio.

Mike graduated from Ohio University, putting himself through college running a chain of video stores, managing 140 rental properties, and pioneered stand up comedy at Playboy’s top rated bar “The Night Court” in Athens, Ohio and is still running 10 years later.

In 2002, Mike attended the Masters in Business Administration program at University of Denver for a year, leaving graduate school to start two sports companies (Denver Sport and Social and PlayCoed.com) in 2003. In 2008 Mike sold both businesses, generating $2 million in sales. Starting in 2008 Mike split time between Denver, New York and Los Angeles consulting media, film, and music businesses. In 2009 Mike partnered with Adrian Smith and started Lead Alliance Media Group.

Mike currently runs day to day operations for Lead Alliance.
